Network repatching blocks are used to hold network cables (with RJ45 connectors) while the switch or router is being replaced. Simply move the network cables one by one to the blocks, remove/replace the switch or router and move the connections back. This will ensure that no cable is mixed up in the transfer. There is also spaces on the ends and top of the blocks to add 12x3mm round magnets so that the blocks can be stuck together or just attached to the rack while working.
