I saw some stackable chess sets online that were CNCd out of metal and thought to myself, why not make my own out of plastic. The nice part about the metal ones is that they were magnetic, so I might work on the design a little bit to be able to fit small magnets in the base, but for now, these are easy to carry in my backpack and whip out anytime the opportunity arises.
I printed in PLA with 20% infill. I'm currently printing the rest of the set due to tolerance issues with my first print, but these should be good to go. They're a tight fit because I wanted them to stay together while transporting and them not being magnetic. More pictures to come of the set all printed out, nested and not nested.
