Reverse bowden side-entry mount for direct drive hotends on Creality bed slingers. After switching to DD I wanted to be able to draw filament from the side like I did before converting. The mount this is based on seemed like it would fit the bill until I printed it. There were some mesh issues that made it difficult to mount and the two models weren't stitched together so the part was fragile after printing due to a buried mesh face inside.
The geometry of the original filament sensor indicated it was designed to be printed flat on the build plate not hanging in air so I dropped it down into the NEMA 17 bracket to merge the two models and to eliminate supports. I wanted to be able to mount it with screws not zip ties so I clearanced the model to allow for it. I've printed this in ABS and PLA without issue.
