A few months ago I created a communication project that involved an holographic pyramid (http://rogzam.com/a-holographic-pyramid-for-the-german-pavilion).
As you may know it's a pretty simple technology, I just designed a 3D printed structure to hold the screens in place and laser-cut black acrylic cap to darken a little bit the area around the screens. I was just trying to translate the CD-case pyramid into a more neat and commercial object.
