Here is my new aproach, I think it is better than all the past iterations, only need 4 3x25mm screws and thats all, no inserts, no nuts no nothing the screws goes direct to the PLA part.
To attach the FC, GPS & led use double sided tape (the gel one).
Now the screw goes from the bottom body the arm, the top body and that´s all.
IT´s perfect for modding, the idea is to put a front low cam but you can mode it with a gimbal, in that case the legs can be elongated with 8mm aluminium tubes that fit perfect. if you want digital DJY VTX/CAM there is a lot of room in the body and above the body.
There is a lot of clerance between the body and the props /props to props.
There is a lot of space for the old simonk ESCs and a lot of air for cooling.
you can lift the body with 8mm aluminium tubes.
You can invert the body and put the arms above for an FPV camera pointing upwards or a gimbal in the upper part of the body, in this case you must pass the motor wires from the upper holes of the upper body.
This is my last iteration, if something new appears maybe will be a mod for a gimbal (cheap chinesse) update, new ESCs smaller, new motors, smaller props, smaller arms, tilted arms or a "drop payload" attach.
For printing as a "boat" flat belly direct to the bed, supportsmore than 55º zigzag 10%, infill 6-10%.
