Summary

NEW ITERATION HERE https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6701214

It came from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5238854/files

It is not a remix, its a complete redesign.

The idea is to get a good frame that can be printed in a small FDM 25x25 printer.

This long road was to make it 21 grams ligther... but i like it.

As simple the best

You will need to print 2 baseplates and 4 arms

included "box frame" a upper boddy

Remember that 2 of the arms must be mirored to work

Its a true x design

There is a short arm fo fit bigger motors with non standar naza props (smaller than 9)

There is a standard arm but with lower arm position to get smaller profile

There is a bigger base plate to put extra parts as VTX, OSD Gimbal board ETC but with te standar plates you will have a lot of room. this is the only part that will need supports.

All the parts are printed in PLA 3 perimeters and 5% to 8% infill

The only stolen part was the motormount and ASAP I´ll thank the designer (if I get to find him)

Soon I´ll include a AIO upper baseplate with arms for 50x50 printers in this case you will need to print 2 parts and thats all.

The base plate with legs is designed for 8mm aluminium tubes to give space for the gimbal.

It was worked in tinkercad thats why it looks more like an F4 than an F18 and as I´m an old guy im not going to test more "organic" designs that could make it look better.

Good luck hope it fit your needs and if you have some ideas to make it better please please please comment!

The story... HATE the old flamewheel its clumsy, shaky and a lot of wobble, hate to waste the excellent naza lite that flies perfect so decided to print something small and stiff to use the old fashion Naza lite with cold war 30 amps ESCs, downloaded a lot of models, none of them did it for me, all were big and shaky, the best was the mavic clone but it was too big and heavy for me, needed something smaller.
