I am working on an Apollo A7L spacesuit costume and could not find any 3D files for the moon boots buckle and hooks so I made my own!
I have made an effort to make these as close to the originals as possible, but the reference material is a bit sparse, so there may be some inaccuracies in the model.
The files are scaled to fit a 25 mm wide strap, please scale accordingly if yours are of a different width.
For the buckle I made some attempts to make the bar with some steel wire, but was not satisfied with the results. As the part is not load bearing, I decided to 3D print the buckle including the wire. I have included a version of the file without the bar if you want to use real wire instead of printing it.
