Summary

I printed another fully printable fishing pole on here but the handle was too small and it didn't work well for me. So I used that idea but redesigned this from scratch. The end result is a fully working fishing pole that weighs less than 4oz. As a bonus, I've added an extra eye. You can attach a tent stake, hiking pole or just a stick to the bottom of the pole with 4 zip ties and then add the eye on to make a longer pole if necessary.

I'm going backpacking 14 miles to a lake and small river where I don't need anything fancy. Just something big enough to catch 16" - 20" trout and this makes an excellent emergency fishing pole. Or just make it for the kids!

It is 300mm so you'll need a big bed. You can shorten the handle and print it on a 200x200 bed but it works great on a 300x300 bed. Note that it took 12 hours and you'll need to sand the parts a bit to get a snug fit.
