The file 'Nalgene Bottle Clip 3D Printer Model' is (STL) file type, size is 43.4KB.
Ever go to take a drink and get splashed from the water in the cap of your nalgene? Maybe you have adopted the "one finger hold down" grasp as you drink. This little print keeps the lid down allowing you turn your bottle into a more normal drinkware container.
I find I drink more water throughout the day if the cap is back and the bottle is more like a big cup.
Ive had this on two of my bottles for over a year, out in the woods, hiking, drops, freezing and it has held up just fine.
After printing cut a small strip of 3M outdoor mounting tape and stick it on the back. I find its easier to stick the part onto the roll and then cut along the bottom edge of the part.
If you are printing the non raft version and add your own raft, your slicer may fill in the hard to clean out area inside the clip, so I included a part with a raft that sticks to the bed but is still easy to clean up.
