What is it and why did I make it?
This is a Nalgene adapter for Havis C-CUP2-Series cup holders. I hated that my Havis mount for my vehicle could not contain my Nalgene bottle, not any can or really anything. drinks would slop about, spilling and making a horrific mess.
How did i make it?
Using OpenSCad software, I was able to take measurements of my cup holder to make a fit that would not be tight, but offer very little slop in terms of abuse of a drink in a vehicle. My vehicle is a Dodge Ram 2500 and it has stiff suspension, you can get an idea of what I mean by stiff suspension.
Here are measurements of this adapter should you want to see if it fits in your holder
