Two sizes of lumber loads for 60', 61' and 73' N-scale centerbeam/spline rail cars. Also included are templates for cutting out the paper "load-covers" that get wrapped around the printed block. (Don't cut out the middle rectangle - it's just for making sure your alignment is straight to the logos on the paper.)
The side of the load block with the hole is designed to be inward facing, so you'll glue to the other sides. The hole is sized to accept a 6mmx2mm round magnet, so that the loads attract to each other, securing to the rail car by pinching it between them. A dab of crazy glue should hold the magnets in place.
Included are a few sample wraps, which were sampled from here, where the author outlines his process to make loads for his bulk-head cars: https://kootenaymodelrailway.wordpress.com/2013/05/29/kootenay-kwikie-making-lumber-loads/?fbclid=IwAR1P85dJZlvnJ4A9SEgbMFaXHJxFsMwhkvnbAOCZN1k5-OWb6JuT7xenj_w
Assembly process:
Optional: I found the loads fit pretty tight as is, but if they are a bit loose you can secure a 6mm x 2mm disc magnet (eBay, Amazon) into the hole on the back, paying attention to polarity so that a matching pair of loads will attract each other when installed onto the car.
