This is a scraper tool I made to create a road crown shape for an N scale (1/160) model road. This tool was designed with the Woodland Scenics road system in mind. I measured out and placed the road paving tape first and then added the smooth it, using this scraper to form the crown. The tool is designed to ride on the paving tape, and has little guides that hang off the outside of the paving tape. It worked well for me, so hopefully others will find it useful.
The crown dimensions were taken from municipal specifications from the Chicagoland area.
Wetting the scraper helps some in getting the profile smooth.
I printed this flat on a Creality Ender 3 in PLA.
