My 2020 Wyze Cam V2 mount
I designed this little mount to hold the base of a Wyze Cam V2. And I also designed a 2020 extender.
I printed everything in black so it looks good and matches the printer but it doesn’t photograph very well.
I have an Anycubic Kossel delta printer and the base consists of (2) 20X20mm extrusions that are parallel to each other and mounted 20mm’s apart. So from the bottom to the top the overall measurement is 60mm’s tall.
You can mount the Wyze base holder right to a 2020 extrusion, or you can mount the extender to the extrusions then mount the Wyze base holder to the extender.
The extender is 100mm’s tall. There is a slot to mimic the slot in a 20mm extrusion to mount the base holder to. It holds the base 40mm’s higher up.
I added another extender that only uses one 2020 extrusion to mount to, instead of two. This extender overall height is 60mm’s and is also holding the mount 40mm’s higher up, but only mounted to one 2020 extrusion. So it might not be as stable. But more universal.
I used 3mm socket head screws that are 10mm’s long. I just used 3mm hex nuts on the back side of the extender instead of tee nuts, although I’m sure you can use tee nuts if that’s all you got. I made a pocket for the head of the screws to counter sink them, to make room for the Wyze base.
Tee nuts in the extrusions and hex nuts to secure the base mount to the extender.
Overall it is a very easy print. There is one bridging area on the extender, the top slot is facing down. The base holder should be pretty straight forward.
I printed these in PETG although I’m sure anything will work. Except TPU lol. PLA, ABS, Nylon, whatever.
PETG .2 layer 50% infill 220 degrees at 40mm/s
