Inspired by most skater belt buckles, our 3D Printed buckle is a simple design that works with most grosgrain belts. The four piece design uses a latch that grips onto the belt by clipping it down. The cover is really interesting because it can be customized to have your name or logo. Combing this with a bright color that really pops can create an awesome style worthy of an Instagram.
Designed in Autodesk Maya, I used basic modeling techniques to create the pieces and carefully measured them so it fits the belt nice and tight. After a few prototypes we got the tolerance issues down and each piece holds together quite nicely.
