Summary

A scale-able slide cutter for materials like foam board/foamcore. This was originally designed so i could achieve perfect cuts when constructing the various free-plan foamboard rc airplanes but during the design and construction phase of things i quickly realized this could be used for a variety of materials. The current tool holders in this package are for 3/16" foamboard, the cuts include single cut, score cut, channel cut, 45 degree bevel cut. Future plans for this include a rotary cutting disc tool for fabric, a glass cutter tool holder, and whatever else a person may imagine. The rod size that is used is 1/2", I used stainless steel but use whatever 1/2" stock you have on hand, bracket hardware is all m5 and the m3 for the tool holders. The hardware in tool holders are really kind of optional but the geometry is there. Those are in place in case a user was to ever use this on materials tougher than foam board that would put a good amount of force on the blade. The last bit of hardware is 8x3mm neodynium magnets that are used in the lid and the tool holders, held in place by friction, reinforced with a dab of glue. File format is .stp so a person may do what they please with the files. If you would like to expand on this project you are free to do so, just give credit where credit is due.
