This Robotic track system has been in use in my classroom for two years. It is strong, robust and maintainable.
This model is the track only, but comes with a mount for the Pololu 25D series motors. There is also a frame mount that I used for the prototyping version (purple and yellow one in the images) of the tankbot which was able to withstand a 3kg rig being used in the classroom by 14 year olds for 4 semesters. The only time they broke was when they were driven off a table.
