This is a funnel for the portafilter that comes with the Mr. Coffee brand espresso machine shown in the included pictures (they have changed the design several times over the years, so make sure you have the same model). Just drop it in and pour your grounds without making a mess! Works well with my tamping station (as shown in the pic) that can be found here:

Some thoughts on food safety:
This item will come in contact with coffee grounds, so please do treat in a food-safe-ish manner before use. I print in ABS and brushing with acetone yields a smoother, less porous, and hopefully food-safer surface. A couple of coats of food-safe polyurethane is another technique I have heard about. It might be worth looking into different options, but the risk here is minimal because we are dealing with dry food and very brief contact.
