Summary

Forewarning: This is the first thing i've created to be be printed. I created in it Sketchup using basic features because it's all I know. It was created out of necessity to get my machine working with the new center assembly and universal mount.

This is a mount that I created to fit the Universal Mount on the Mostly Printed CNC. I use it for a Harbor Freight Trim Router 44914. I used a mount for a Makita rt0701c for my last build and it fit perfectly, so the rt0701c should fit it as well. Tool diameter is roughly 2.5" diameter.

I printed 2, one for the top, one for the bottom and it holds it pretty steady, but you could print 1 or 2 more to hold it better.

I started with the hf_trim_router_mount_low_profile_v1.stl and my printer gltiched, but i realized that the height might be an issue, so i made the _beefier that is a little taller, I suggest using that one.

It sticks off the machine about .5" because i was worried that it would interfere with the Z bearings. I didn't realize it, but it had plenty of space, I should have went shorter, because you'll lose about 1mm on one axis because the tool hits the conduit. This might not happen on your machine depending on the height you run the tool. I didn't think 1mm warranted modifying/reprinting.

Tool mount attaches to the universal mount by 2 .75" #6 bolts and nylock nuts used on the rest of the machine, and then 1 more pair to close the tool in the mount (3 bolts & 3 nylock nuts per mount).

I printed 70% infill and 3 perimeters, I might go higher if i reprint it.

please post your build photo if you use it and also give me any feedback on the part. Thanks! :-)
