I wanted to install a Runleader engine hour meter on my buggy (highly modified rear engine riding mower) that I use to tool around the property, but could not find a good spot to mount it, so I designed several mounts that would give me options to securely mount it where it would be relatively protected. I have included both so you might find one easier to apply to your application. The meter snaps into a 45mm (1.77”) square hole on a flat surface, but with these mounts you only need to drill a few round holes. I would recommend that you use PETG for its strength and heat resistance and neither mount needs adhesion or support.
