The file 'Mountain Bike Rear Mudguard Bracket ReMix 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 250.4KB.
I printed Reddukem's mudguard out of PETG and on the first use on my hardtail on a local XC trail, I found that the mid bracket broke where the front of the mudguard meets the stop on the mid bracket. After looking closely, I realized that this was nearly the thinnest part of the midbracket and it just wasn't strong enough.
So, I remixed it with the help of Tinkercad and added a top brace over the top of the mudguard so now instead of having all of the weight of the mudguard leveraging one thin spot, it will now be sandwiched between an upper and lower mount.
Update:
It worked! The arm survived another ride on the trail.
Update2:
I however found that the mudguard wasn't far enough back to cover all of the mud from flinging up and coating my back. Introducing the Strength and Stretch midbracket. I doubled the center section of the midbracket, bringing the total length to just over 20mm. This should now position the mudguard in a good spot on my 29er Trek Marlin.
