The file 'Mount Of An LED COB To An Active Heatsink 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 32.0KB.

Summary

I bought a set of LED COB (chip on board) and needed to create a construct to mount the chip and press it to an active heatsink that is standardly used to cool CPUs (standard dimensions).

More tightening of the screws between the heatsink structure and the printed plastic part slightly bends the printed part and increases the pressure of the chip on the heatsink, which reduces the thermal resistance of the interface between the chip and the heatsink (with thermoconductive tape or paste).

A circular design would perhaps be more aestheticall in relation to the circular heatsink, but I thought of it too late. The end holes are used to attach the cooler with the LED chip to the wooden carrier.

Heatsink compatibility: Intel – LGA 775/1150/1151/1155/1156; AMD –AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+/FM1/FM2
