Hello. Because I was frustrated how my Motus Scooty 10 Plus was braking, and there was no Plug&Play solution for brake upgrade I designed this.

This adapter allows to install bigger brake caliper (like from normal bike), and also allows to install bigger, 140mm brake disc.

This modification requires little bit of tinkering (shaving some plastic from the fender and some metal from the bracket), and also some sqiushy washer for the back bolt, because the plain for the screw isn't perpendicular to the screw.

But believe me, I was optimizing this mount quite some time, and it is as good as it gets (without modifying the mount on the scooter frame).

When it comes to the safety concerns, I wanted to make it from metal, but it was 1/3 cost of the scooter (CNC, in Poland). So I've printed it quite sturdy (3-4 perimeters, 50-60% infill). The front screw screws into the plastic, so I suggest replace the bracket after few installations (screw and unscrew). I made about 500km with this setup, and it didn't break once. So, it's safe ;)
