The file 'Motorized Ventilation Valve 125mm (28BYJ-48) For Itho Daalderop 3D Printer Model' is (f3d,stl) file type, size is 1.7MB.
This is a motorized ventilation valve that uses the popular, low-cost 28BYJ-48 stepper motor. The valve is designed to fit a standard 125 mm ventilation duct and includes adapters.
It is specifically designed to attach directly to the Itho Daalderop CVE RFT central ventilation fan (see the photo).
The assembly uses PZ1 2,5x10 mm self-tapping screws.
I used two A3144 Hall effect sensors as limit switches, mounted on the PCB and triggered by a small neodymium magnet attached to a lever on the opposite side of the valve's shaft.
The built-in gearbox of the stepper motor prevents the valve flap from moving backward when the valve is fully closed, even when the fan is running at full power. Thus, there is no need to keep the motor coils energized after the valve is closed.
I will publish the PCB and the code for the STM32 MCU later, as I am still working on some parts of it.
