This is a quick plate light design I came up with to get my bike through inspection. It's bigger than it needs to be, but I overestimated the amount of room I'd need to wire up the LEDs and resistor. It's designed around the only white LEDs I could source quickly- a couple odd, 4-prong, square shaped ones I found in the drawers at Radio Shack.
It is mounted with heavy-duty, double-sided tape. As per my usual, I've included the sketchup file for easy mash-up.
