The file 'Motherboard Standoff Adapter (mounting Post) 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 18.5KB.

Summary

Designed for a standard motherboard standoff to press in place (to provide proper threads for installing the motherboard screws) This is meant to allow you to attach your motherboard to any surface that you can screw into (wood, plastic, etc) without the need to cut proper threads for the traditional standoffs. Holes sized for #6 screws.

Don't forget that the usual PC case is metal, thus grounding the chassis to the motherboard through the standoffs. If you use this adapter to attach the motherboard to something non-conductive, it may be worth adding something else for a good connection to chassis ground. I left the bottom of the post hole open in order to do this a little easier (as well as to line up the standoff adapter to the mounting surface if you pre-mark the hole placement)

Recommended hardware per post:

1x standard motherboard standoff (6-32 m3 I believe)
2x #6 screws (whatever length you need)

I built the recessed hole for the standoff to precise measurements of the hardware I had on hand. Depending on your printer and the standoffs you have, it may be required to slightly modify the size of hole before printing
