A diagram showing the moon phases. The writing is small so check the preview before printing to make sure the letters will be readable at the size and resolution you will use for the print. The pictured model was printed at 180%, the largest size that would fit on my printed.
There is also a model with no labels which can be printed smaller and in a lighter color and given to a student to complete.
The unfinished model can be used as an exercise for the students to fill in the lit part of the moon for each phase.
This was created as a proof of concept. It was intended for a 7th grade lesson on astronomy and 3D design using Tinkercad. But my curriculum changed so I don't teach this topic anymore and the lesson was never used with the students.
The model in the picture curled a bit which messed up the labeling on the bottom right corner.
