The file 'Monstera Hydroponic Aquarium Plant Hanger 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 40.1KB.
I designed this for my aquarium to hold a monstera plant that has grown too large to hold itself upright. It's a version of my older original design that was for a rimless tank.
Two holes are added on the outside edge should any weight want to be added later for any particular large plants, you could hang it via string or wire etc..I found it useful for a top heavy plant. I am however planning to update this design to have a screw like the remix version.
There's a 12mm diameter hole in the top that fits a piece of dowel wood perfectly - this can be added and changed out for longer ones should you with to support the plant as it grows vertically.
The plant clip itself is big enough for a good sized monstera stem at 20mm, but can be used for any plant like pothos etc.. WIth smaller plants I wrapped the stem in some filter foam to keep it in place but to allow room to grow and not squash it.
There is a small flap that can fit over the front that will enclose the whole stem, I thought this might spread the pressure of the cable tie so that it wont cut into the stem.
There's a groove in the flap to take a zip tie, with holes in the wall behind for it to pass it though the main body
Below the clip there is an open structure that roots can tangle their way through.
I printed this on it's side for the best overall strength, with tree supports.
