The file 'Monkeyz 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 7.4 MB.
'Monkeyz' is a fun moving one piece print that requires no support and at standard sacle uses less than 20gm filament including a raft. With a well set up slicing app and machine Monkeyz should be ready to swing through the trees (and from all sorts of other things) straight off the build plate....
This is a novelty print that can be placed in all sorts of locations at home, work, classroom, workshop and more... they provide a fun little decorative feature. Just place them anywhere they will hang... but they can also stand on their own two feet or sit. They look particularly good positioned swinging through house / pot plants.
The design has arms that rotate around the shoulder 360 degrees, legs that swing forwards and backwards approx. 180 degrees in total, and a tail that rotates up just over 90 degrees. However, it is a one-piece-print that requires no support. On a precise well sliced file and with an accurate machine Monkeyz should be ready to hang and swing straight of the build plate. The legs were designed to move together to make it easier for Monkeyz to stand.
Monkeyz look great printed in any colour. There is a lot of detail in the face and the arms, legs and tail have been designed to hang and swing as well as possible within the constraints of 3D printing. At standard scale Monkeyz stand 95mm tall (excluding the tail which swings up).
This is an easy print but please refer to the print settings (as this needs to be printed with extra shells to make the joints as strong as possible) and view the images provided for additional information... and please post images of your Monkeyz for others to see!
