Replacement cover incl. COmmodore decal, for Philips VS0080/CM8510, Commodore 1081/1084/1084S and Ancona KG520/00B
Many nice cover STLs already exist but seem to be thinner than the original cover on my Philips and Ancona monitors. Dimensions of this STL were taken from the cover of my Ancona KG520/00B and Philips VS0080 monitors. The design took a few tries, to ensure a proper fit and to account for the higher stiffness of PLA+ compared to the original ABS cover.
Mounting clamps are separated, allowing them to be printed flat, enhancing over-all strength. I used superglue and baking soda to glue the pieced together.
Print the decal on waterslide decal paper. Use transparent varnish to seal the decal, before applying water.
Original Fusion360 model included to simplify re-use of my work. Prease respect the license agreement and share alike.
