The file 'Mold Box Corners For Silicone Mold Making 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 111.6KB.
This 3D printable film (.stl) if for mold box corners to aid in the making of mold boxes for those who put silicone molds.
I prefer using foam core for my mold boxes - I designed these to aid in that task.
You will need to print out four of these corners which you can quickly slip over strips of foam core to form your box with corners that won't leak.
The lines on the inside corner are fill marks to help when pouring to get the proper coverage.
The little extrusion on the outside edge is a cutting guide — you can use with a razor blade knife to quickly cut your foam core strips for your mold boxes.
I choice a hight of 4" because that height covers 90% of what I cast. But you can also stack them for taller pieces (there's hole to insert a wooden dowel for that purpose).
You can of course cut you strips shorter in hieght.
You can make a box as small as 2" x 2" And you obviously still need to hot glue the edges of your box/corner on your pour surface.
