The file 'Modular SodaStream Bottle Storage 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 53.7KB.
This is a modular Soda Stream plastic bottle storage system.
I looked for something to store my sodastream bottles underneath something in a nice way. However most of the designs didn't suit what I wanted or were full bottle length.
I wanted to achieve several things with this design.
1) Minimise wastage of fillament/plastic.
2) Modular to suit whatever space was available
So There are 5 STL files available
The Ring which is the front and back piece of the design
The Rod of which there are 3 types. The rod's purpose is to join front and back together and provide horizontal support and some vertical support for bottles as they slide in and out. Double Rod is for joining side to side or top to bottom of the rings. Single rod is for at the edges of the entire structure. I also did a base support rod (I have not tested this one) for printing as a base with a bit of extra width to help stabilise a single column structure (If this doesn't work let me know)
There is also a Joiner piece for if you want to try side joining without additional horizontal support between front and back. This may work as an every second join. I didn't end up doing a big enough build yet.
I made everything to not require supports to print, 4 rings will fit onto the build plate of my printer.
This fits plastic sodastream bottles as in the pictures, however it will not fit the soda king bottles.
It also fits wine bottles. I am not sure that it would support a lot of wine bottles I may remix to make it a bit stronger with a wider ring to add extra support.
I have put initials in the corner of the Ring
