I couldn't find the right car phone mount for me in the community. I really wanted a ball joint, found it, and I really wanted the Modular Mounting System phone holder. The holder and the ball joint were both two taps and it was unacceptable for me to add a middle piece as it would be too bulky in a car dashboard, so I edited the phone holder to become 3 tab and expanded the base a bit for a bigger sticky surface.
I am using "double sided nano tape" to stick the base in my car. You also need 1x M5 hex bolt for this.
EDIT: New ball and rod. It is compatible with existing parts but is printed on the side and is therefore stronger.
