Note:
I have created a new stand design which makes use of plastic conduit as the main core of the stand allowing it to be any height based on the where the conduit is cut. This can be found here:

A modular stand for lego. Allows for different height stands and includes options for the Lego model being display to be tilted. Requires additional technical Lego pieces to be used to attach Lego model.
If anyone wants any longer or shorter length necks or different angles on the head just leave a comment and I'll see what I can do.
I've added a second version of the base which uses less filament but seems to be just as sturdy.
