This new fastener allows for low profile, slide-on/slide-off connections between objects. Also, in many cases it is a snap-on/slide off style connector. I've created a bunch of applications in the jewelry category, but this can certainly be applied in other areas. For starters, we have necklaces, rings, and bracelets that can be connected, and swapped out with different charms, ring faces, etc.
