Summary

The hydroponic system is built up modularly from parts available in the hardware store and the 3D-printed parts.
The HT pipes form the basic water-conducting framework, these are available in a diameter of 75mm and can be adapted to individual needs with all possible angles and lengths.
The printed plant pots are inserted directly into 45mm drilled holes. The level of the nutrient liquid is defined with printed water level limiters. A 60mm x 70mm x 5mm sealing ring is required for these.
All connections are made of water hoses and fittings available in hardware stores.
From a storage tank (64 l Eurobox) a small pump is used to pump the nutrient liquid into the top pipe, from there the nutrient liquid flows past the plants into a sand filter, which is also housed in a 110 mm HT pipe. The sand filter is filled in 3 layers with gravel of varying thickness and sand. From the filter, the liquid is returned to the tank.
The energy supply is self-sufficient via a small solar cell and a car battery.
The control, together with a small web server as communication interface is provided by an ESP32. Additional sensor technology with temperature and humidity sensor can be integrated via this.
