This snake-like, flexible cable conduit allows you to secure loose cables on the floor from being tripped over. I prefer this to taping cables to the ground, which leads to sticky smear on cables and floor over time.
You can print as many modules as necessary, each one adds around 45mm to the whole conduit. The modules can be clicked together and, als long as the conduit is flat on the ground, stick together quite reliably. Need more conduit? Print more modules!
The flexible side parts allow you to push in the cables from the side, module by module, without need to fiddle around and push them in from one end.
The snakey cable conduit can be stepped on, as the construction is quite crush-resistant, of course depending on the material you use. With the right choice of material, it withstands a casual step without problems. And, if one module beaks, you can always replace it with a newly printed one. Hint: don't print it in white.
Works well even when printed in low resolution. Don't forget to secure the »female« end of the whole chaine with the end piece, as this adds neccessary support when stepped on.
edit: i added the sketchup-files.
