Summary

I needed a tool caddy to set next to my 3D printer to corral all the tools I was using to finish my prints and work on my design. I realized that my ideal tool caddy would take over 16 hours to print in one piece, so I went with a modular approach instead.

Print one base and then select the other holders to fit your needs.

The print settings are not critical - I printed my in a fairly low resolution, which looks worse in the photo than it does in person. I used 10% infill, although that can be slightly higher or lower and it won't matter too much.

Originally, my intent was for the compartments to be swappable on the base, but I wasn't satisfied with the fit of the connectors. I made them a bit tighter and as a result swapping out the parts after they've been seated doesn't usually work. This is especially true with the PLA filament that I use - you may have other results with different filament types.

I designed this to be able to print on the small bed of my Monoprice Select Mini printer.

The USB drive holder has been tested on one printer and it the fit was good, but I can't guarantee it will work on all printers.
