I made these because I wanted to make the pieces look a bit more individual, like the actual Lewis chessmen. So, I made different knights, rooks/berserkers/warders, kings, and queens based on photos from the British Museum. I sculpted them in SculptGL (did it the quicker way :P) and edited some pieces in Blender.
You'll need some supports for the pieces, just find out which ones.
