Summary

This is a simplified model of a V8 engine. All the files have fairly big tolerances so you should not have issues with parts fitting together nicely. This is a fairly large model, approximately 160mm long by 140mm wide by 100mm tall. If you scale down the model it may be tough to get some parts to print well and may be difficult to fit them together but it should work if your printer is well calibrated. Assembly is fairly straight forward, you should have all the information needed to assemble from the videos and pictures.

You may notice there are some extra holes in the engine block that are not used, in the future I may add a camshaft and valves of some sort but I have not decided yet.

If you have difficulty attaching the piston head to the crankshaft using the bolts, I found using a sharp knife and pressing it into the head of the bolt was helpful to turn the bolt into the final position.

Need:
8 - Piston Head
8 - Piston Head bolts
1 - Crankshaft
1 - engine block left
1 - engine block right
1 - engine block bottom
1 - engine block cover
11 - engine block bolts
