This is a remix made of this thingi https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1660555 This vortex shaker is now more of a paint mixer for using Tamiya paints, Vellejo paint bottles, Alclad paints and much, much more!
Whats new?
2021 Final Version
-Paint holders for Alclad and 23ml tamiya added
-A Universal holder added for DIY (see 2nd picture)
-Paint holders have now a 'bevel edge' and some minor cosmetic changes
-The holes for the 10x10x2 magnets are now 0.2mm bigger making installation easier.
-You can now use 4x m3x10 countersunk screws for mounting the spring holders to the Base Bottom
-Added a hole in the spring holder for a tyrap to secure the spring
-Added two rings in the base plate for tyraps to secure the wires
-The mount for the power switch and power jack are now much thicker!
Parts needed:
140mm PC fan
A balance weight to mount on the PC Fan blade
4x Springs i use 11mm and around 70/80mm long (RC Car Crawler Springs)
4x M3x45 screws
6x 10x10x2mm Magnets
12v DC power
DC Power Socket Jack Plug 5.5mm
On/Off Switch or a Toggle Switch
Some power wire 15cm should be enough
Optional a Fan Controller so you can change the fan speed if you want to
Tools Needed:
CA Glue
Soldering Iron and solder
Rubber band
Optional a drill with a 2.5 and a 3mm drill bit
All parts and the magnets can be glued with CA glue if you print the parts with PLA filament.
The springs i use where from a RC car (Venom Racing Creeper) if you look at the RC Car brand 'Axial RC' you can find long size springs they don't need to be stiff or soft they only need to 'wobble' so all of them will work fine. Even some fuel line from a car would work as a 'wobble spring'
