The file 'Mode On Off Selector 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 13.3MB.
My son wanted to design and print these for his friends at school. We designed them using Alibre Atom3D and sliced them with Cura.
Note 1: The models are printed at 214 C until layer 66, at which time the temperature decreases 2 to 3 C. The temperature is decreased in order to bridge the back of the slider channel. The temperature is adjusted back to 214 C at layer 68 to finish the last 4 layers of the print. Depending on your cooling capacity you may need to adjust the temperature more or less, or not at all. All temperature adjustments were done by editing the gcode using the M104 S command.
Note 2: The STL file generates the model with the letters facing up (at least in Cura). The letters must face down in order to print correctly. There's a 0.5 mm gap between the slider and the backplate so the letters must face the build plate in order to maintain this gap.
