Mizmo is intended for experienced builders/pilots with extensive knowledge in building slope sailplanes. Although not required, builder is recommended to have experience with Cura slicer and modifier.

This design is intended for Cura. It's possible to port this design to other slicers but not recommended. Please review free manual before start printing.

Description

Mizmo is developed based on Gen1 and Gen2 Manta Flying Wing planform with the addition of Blended Wing Body (BWB) to achieve a low drag, light weight and good energy retention for slope soaring.

Design & Construction

⦁ Planform: BWB body + Manta Wing planform
⦁ Body/Fuselage airfoil: Geode's wide body BWB airfoil
⦁ Wing airfoil: PW modified, transitional with aerodynamic washout
⦁ Fully 3D printed with regular PLA
⦁ One digital design with local modifiers for unlimited number of variants

⦁ Span - 48 in (120 cm)
⦁ Area - 320 in2 (20.7 dm2)
⦁ Mass – 24 oz (680 g)
⦁ Loading – 10.8 oz/ft2 (32.9 g/dm2)
