The file 'Missile Turret [28mm] 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 682.7KB.
This is a missile turret for 28mm wargaming, to make either a heavy support tank or fortification terrain. If assembled and painted carefully, the missile bays rotate on the supporting arm. There are pockets built into the design to optionally magnetize the end caps in order to switch between high explosive and wide area missiles. The base pedestal plug is 25mm, compatible with Games Workshop's Rhino-chassis hatches. Games Workshop's Rhino model shown in photos only to demonstrate scale.
The missile end caps can either be glued on or magnetized. To magnetize them you'll need:
The pieces have been designed to not require any supports, with only very modest bridging and overhang capabilities required. They should be printed as oriented in the STLs: Missile end caps laying flat, and the arm cap upside down. See the photo in the gallery for an example layout in Cura.
Dry fit everything before gluing to make sure it fits!
