Got some gold filament and wow it's really gold! So what to make with it?

Let's see, how about a box with a hinged lid. It's roughly 150x100x80 and the front latch needs to be rotated 180 so that a press in on the face releases it (whatever, it's printed, not worth the effort). I made the hinge holes 2mm, more than enough to fit a hanger wire I had on my bench top, but it didn't fit the resulting print, so thinner wire was used. Functionally ok, but not quite optimal for what I had in my head when drawing it.

Hum... maybe some round earphone and cable containers. Both are 60mm diameter with 22 or 30mm hight. Tops are different hight and in spite of being different modeling approaches, they interchange, so a couple in-between sizes are possible.

What else do I absolutely need... that this brittle PLA, but brightly gold color filament, could be used for? Oh, I got it ... An organizer dock box for the remotes! So, out with my trusty little plastic caliper measuring device for the individual remote ends and made rectangles arranged for minimizing XY area. Ta'da... tidy remote storage ;)

Took a couple pictures of the bright and shiny gold color prints, so just thought I'd share some ultra simple things ... :)

FWIW ... I usually draw things dimensionally for my .5mm nozzle and lean toward layers of .3 or some factor more. However, the roundtainer boxes got .25 layers, to match a 1mm shell.

Added Box 100mm with 2mm walled/shell bottom and top snap together with fitted slim hinge. The latch on this one is rotated properly for easy open.
