Summary

I bought a minisforum MS-01, I love the machine but I dislike the little fan noise, so I have to do something about it.

This mod "slides" (with a bit of a help) in and out like the original case, it's meant to hold 140mm fans but I think it should work with 120mm too, thats why it has different holes to adjust the height.

I tried to replace the cpu fan, but, since the heatsink its directional, the performance was sub-optimal, so I kept the cpu assembly but nothing on the hard drives side. I'm going to try to replace the heatsink with a regular one, but this is WIP.

Attached is the pinout for the fan connector, the connector itself its a "Molex PicoBlade" 1,25mm 4pin (this is what I bought and works https://www.amazon.es/dp/B08RMQP6YP?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1), you can solder this to a female fan connector.
BEWARE it only provides 5v, I had no problem with an Arctic p14 PWM PST though.

Both of my fans are connected to the hard drive fan with a splitter.

Since the "mod" I noticed so much less whiny noise, looks like the offender is the tiny one on the hard drive side and the cpu one is more bearable.

You will need 4 of these to assembly the whole thing, I recommend print them sideways and be very carefull with the fan screws, I split a couple of them putting so much force.

Nevermid about the ugly PLA it was a leftover I had lying around.

I think I'm not missing anything, feel free to comment for clarifications.
