The file 'Minimic – A Mini Cell Phone Microphone With Case 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 85.5KB.
Hi,
this thing is a small electret mic in a small case. The mic can be used with any cell phone.
I used this electret cell: https://www.reichelt.de/mikrofonkapsel-loetanschluss-emy-625n-p145849.html
You can use other cells too, please take a look at the drawings for the required size.
The schematics are simple, but the assembly can be a test for your patience.
I installed the jack first (just push it in), cut the cables as short as possible, attached the resistor and the mic cell and then pushed the cell in.
This is why I recommend PETG for the case: adjusting the inner diameters is easier than with PLA.
The hinges of the protective case print in place. Use your preferred settings for fine prints.
I took the plugs from an extension cable from our local 1€-store (tedi). I cannot find any picture or link, I will take a picture next time I go there (christmas is coming soon! :) )
The plugs might be a bit more difficult to find, but I can adjust the case diameter if needed. Just mail me.
Printing:
I recommend using PETG for the actual mic case (the black one) an PLA for the protective case.
Have fun!
