The file 'Minimalistic & Smooth Corner Bracket 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 4.7MB.
Heyho
For a small project I did need some minimalistic brackets! Since I didn't particularly like most of the versions already available online, I quickly constructed a few myself and ended up installing this ones. After that Project I was asked to design a corner bracket in a similar way. So here it is!
Design Ideas
Round Corners
There are no hard edges to ensure a beautifully minimalist shape that no one can bump into unpleasantly :)
Hardware
Only 3 wood screws (contersunk as standard or flathead) are required for assembly. Two 4 mm ( x 20 mm +) screw to attach the angle and one 3 mm ( x 8 mm +) screw to attach the bracket.
Cap
I Added 2 Cap versions. One that can be printed standing upright and one that can be printed lying down. The upright one looks cleaner but eventually needs a brim. The lying one doesn't look that clean later on but is easier to print.
Scaling
You can scale the model up/ down if you like! But keep in mind that the Screw sizes will also change!
Print Instructions:
I printed the Brackets in 0,2 mm layer height, 30% Infill and 4 Perimeter with PETG. But PLA ore even more technical materials should work too :)
If you want to max out the stability then go for 100% infill.
I recommend to set the seam to the area that touches the corner and at the back of the standing cap.
Have fun! And If you like my work share it and consider leaving a small donation so I can continue to publish my work!
