Based on a metal chess set I found, but with some important changes.
Prints entirely without supports. The bottom has a recess for weighting; just add some epoxy resin (and maybe even some metal for extra weight) and let it cure. Then sand the bottom smooth or add felt pads.
Comes in 30mm and 50mm options; if you have a differently sized chess board, scale appropriately.
