Minimalist (and compact) adapter from Herz TRV (Thermostatic Radiator Valve) thread (M28/1.5mm pitch) to "standard" (M30/1.5mm pitch).
All the adapters I've found required replacing the threaded part on the thermostatic head, which puts a lot of stress on the printed plastic replacement part (even if printed in PET-G or higher strength filaments). The load on those parts is a traction load, which will deform/ delaminate the part in time. The proposed model was designed in such a way the the printed part is compressed (which is handled a lot better by 3d-printed parts).
Please print in PET-G or a more temperature-resistant filament.
version 1 - no lip (just threads inside and outside)
version 2 - threads and a continuous lip
version 2.1 - threads and lip -- 1mm gap
version 2.2 - threads and lip -- 3mm gap
The versions with gaps were designed because I had trouble extracting the threaded insert without destroying it.
