I am Bruticus Creations, back with another model, the Minihouse Chess Variant Set- but in travel style! Although this seems like your normal chess set, look again!
This is my take on the Minihouse Chess Variant: A version of chess played on a 6x6 board where you control a micro army of some of the familiar pieces from chess! But instead of the full house, you only have 1 King, 1 Bishop, 1 Rook, 1 Knight and 1 Pawn. Guard them carefully, for mistakes are much more unforgiving and losses much more keenly felt than on the big battlefield.
But, loss becomes gain in the blink of an eye as soon as you capture a piece. Why? Because when you capture an opponents' piece, all you have to do is to replace the colored bob on top of the piece with your own and you have a new recruit in your army! To put a captured piece in play, you can use your turn to place it anywhere on an unoccupied square. You could fork pieces or even checkmate the enemy king with a cleverly placed piece - but watch your back. Other than that, all rules are the same as the normal chess.
